Hello all! Sometimes a photograph says it all and this one perfectly sums up the chaos that is teething. Henson is so emotional these days. He wants to be held at all times and cries this really pathetic whimper if we put him down. He also does not want to play with his toys, sleep in his crib or sit in his high chair. There have been a lot of snuggles and picnicking on the floor. Life is messy and right now we are putting everything aside to just be there for our little doodle. Hope everyone has a good friday! 7 months of little things

To our little doodle,

You turned seven months old on Wednesday. With every passing month I have to pat myself on the back because you are here, thriving and turning into such a character. You have become my little sidekick and I don't mind that a four hour trip now takes nine. You are seeing the world for the first time and it can be so exhilarating. Spring is here and with it lots and lots of things to touch, smell and get into. You love pulling grass. It is too funny. You also love:

refrigerator magnets

nursery rhyme time at the library

all your new baby friends

scooting on your belly

sweet potatoes and apples

you dislike:

getting into your car seat but once buckled you are fine

Things to look forward to:

going to the beach 

meeting your uncle Jabber

shorts (okay maybe this is more for your mama, you just have the cutest baby thighs)

You are the best kiddo and I understand that there is so much to learn and that is why you aren't sleeping. I am sure you will soon enough. If we all stop and take a moment, it is easy to remember why we are all here. Thanks for being awesome. Love, your mama.

Hello all, I know it has been a little quiet on the blog but Henson and I have been traveling to places without internet. These little breaks from the web are pretty nice. It is crazy how much time I can spend browsing the internet and getting away from all that is such a treat. Hope everyone is doing well.
