Last Tuesday I woke up to feed Henson before dawn. I quietly sat and greeted the day. As it grew lighter I realized it was snowing! The first snow of the season. I always get a wave of childish excitement when the snow arrives followed by the panic that comes with being an adult and having to shovel and drive in the stuff. Snow brings an anticipation for the holidays that is something to look forward to and also to dread.
The winters in New England are so tough. The last few years we have had horrible power outages that lasted days. I hope this year will be on the milder side. One day at a time right?
